Tedla Transportation NEMT was Started in 2020 by Sammy Tedla and Hermella Melese. When we began, we started with 10 vans in the Roanoke area and only 2 in Manassas. By always providing safe on time, reliable and dependable services we have grown the business to over 30 + vehicles and more than 30 + employees. We continue to grow all the time. We offer services all over VA with two offices one in Roanoke VA and the other in Manassas VA. We offer jobs to people in the community to help them provide for their families and also give them the opportunity to buy their own van and become owner operators so they can also grow themselves. We thrive on giving the best services and care to all of our customers. We have the newest and cleanest vans around with the best drivers in return giving our customers the best there is to offer. We offer Ambulatory, Wheelchair (WC) and are in the process of starting Stretcher accommodations as well. We offer transportation service for groups and individual clients traveling to Dialysis Centers, Autism Centers, Health Care Facilities (Hospitals, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Centers, Primary Physicians), Day Cares, Rehabilitation Centers, etc. We also offer door to door, hand to hand, and curb to curb services. All of our drivers are CPR certified, drug tested, background checked, and also DMV driving record approved. All of our drivers have received classes for defensive driving training, HIPAA training, Assisting passengers with Disabilities training, Emergency situation training, Fraud Waste and Abuse training, and ADA securement training.
